All about Asian Agriculture

Agriculture in Asia differs in different regions. For instance, Central Asia’s land is mostly deserted and not conducive for planting crops. So, it is no wonder that people coming from countries in this region opt to care for cattle, sheep, chickens, and many other livestock.
On the other hand, the tropical countries of Asia enjoy growing different types of crops and plants for global consumption. One good example is the production of rice in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and other neighbouring countries. Furthermore, countries from the Southeast Asian region also produce fruits, vegetables, and other crops that are often exported to other parts of the world.
It is apparent that agriculture plays an important role in the economies of many Asian countries. Since it is one of the sources of income of the locals, agriculture continues to thrive in any part of the region.
